My First Day of Year 12

It was a crummy one.
There were both good and bad sides to this day.

THE GOOD:
- Lunchtime where i got to eat my lunch
- Got to start at 11AM and not 8:40AM
- People seeing my new hairdo and me getting "Oh my gosh!" from every corner. I felt awesome
- 2 periods of classes
- The speed walk to school with my awesome new music bursting into my ears.
- Waking up at 7:30AM and watching Arthur while making my sandwich and then watching an episode of Chuck- all before school even started.

THE BAD:
- Homeroom
- I slept in and walked with my jumper and blazer in the humid weather: i swear i came to school sweating furiously. It was seriously disgusting. TMI?
- Eco class + Art class
- Friends. Just felt as if i wasnt needed there.
- 3 guys said my haircut made me look like a boy (fair point. But i wasnt prepared to hear it yet so it hurt my feelings)
- My hair. I need to cut it so bad. The back is growing fast and turning itself into a mullet.
- The extremely humid weather
- Coming home in extreme heat, stripping down to my underwear and then taking a shower. TMI again?

Overall, today was a big bust but not to worry- it's only the first day.
I have much more interesting and fun things happening in the next few months :)
- Musical auditions
- Michael Buble concert
- The Script concert
- Tangled at Botanical Gardens
- Bruno Mars concert

Who needs school. "It's a place where people go to die" LOL just kidding! It's a saddening place.
