I'm Making Buns

Chicken with egg and chinese sausage buns to be exact.
It's actually fun.
I thought it would be pretty ridiculous. But making food with my mum is funny. Like my mum is pretty non asian as well. We do dont know how to make the typical vietnamese foods like banh bao, che, well thats all actually. We had to call up my aunt to get help cause she's like the pro master at this kind of stuff. So funny. You know how pork buns have that cool flower looking thing at the top of the bun? Yeah, it was so ridiculous- me and my mum couldnt do it until after 10 trys. We finally got the hang of it by the end of the batch.
We've put them into that large ass pot thingo where you steam them up and like we accidentally put them too close to each other so theyre stuff together...sorta.

Just before we got started on making the buns, i was reading The Crucible. I've re read the first section where the priest/dad, betty, abby, putman couple and proctor man are in betty's room as she is apparently 'bewitched' or whatever like a thousand times. I'm only re reading it cause i take like long ass breaks from reading it and then when i get back into it, im totally lost.
Far out, i hate reading. But i guess reading a script like book is easier than a novel right? Cause you can imagine it in your mind a lot better cause theres all that descriptive crap.

Anyhoot, the buns are done. Imma get back to reading.
