I'm Going On A Diet

Don't worry- i dont think im fat. This diet is different. It's one that will help my eczema go away. I went to a skin clinic in St Kilda on Wednesday to see what the heck is up with my skin and how it can be stopped. The guy diagnosed it as eczema but it was this whole other longggg word! So i cant really remember the name of it but apparently its very common and is genetic. No one in my family has ever had eczema before. Well not that i know of. He gave me a list of the main triggers that affect my eczema to constantly return- including a list of foods that i should and should not be eating. Then he also said that stress may be also a main trigger (fuck). How the heck am i meant to NOT stress during this whole year? I mean, i know im stressed but that will just make me even stress more- knowing whether im stressing or not will make me fear that i am thus make me stress whether im stressing or not. Great. Then theres chemicals like chlorine, laquer, leather crap...which is bad cause i work in a bloody shoe store for crying out loud. Oh forgot to mention- with the food part, I BASICALLY CAN ONLY EAT FISH AND VEGIES AND WATER. Seriously man, everything i eat is on that damn list. I might as well starve!! But i wont cause thats just stupid. I already broke one of the rules- eating tomatoes. I had pasta the last 2 nights. Whoops. And i also had ice tea today which i wasnt meant to cause thats on the list too but its actually 'tea' that was written down but im guessing that 'ICE tea' would be considered as tea anyway. Then theres sweets- everyone needs sugar in their system! How can you not? And salt? Seriously, everyone needs like a pinch of salt in their foods- ITS FLAVOUR! It's bloody crazy! And whatever my blood type is, theres further foods that are forbidden! The doctor guy said that i can eat them (cause i need to eat) but i can only eat small portions of them a week. So when i drink soft drink, i normally drink it 6/7 a week. I need to cut that way back. So he suggested only 2/7. Simple, easy. All i gotta do is cut back on my regular intake and replace it with foods that i CAN eat which wont cause a reaction to my eczema. No matter- im cutting it WAY back. Not drinking it anymore but there are exceptions. I just dont know them yet. LOL. Far out, stupid eczema. Ruins lives. <$BlogItemBody$> |
