Dish The Dirt St Kilda
Thursday, December 23, 2010 1:46 PM

I don't mean the suburb or whatever but the Footy Team.
It's so crazy but insanely news worthy.
I honestly am not a footy fan cause i just find it boring until the last few minutes (like all sporting games) but the latest scandal is really interesting in which i found interestingly enough to debate about. So if you don't want to read my yabbing debate, then move on along.

Just as i was about to go out, i was rustling through the pile of newspapers and saw the headline of Wednesdays (22 December 2010) Herald Sun: "They Can't Stop Me" and it was about how this 17 year old girl vowed revenge on the St Kilda team as she got pregnant with one of the footy stars. Apparently she was mistreated and miscarried twins- if the twins were born, they would be able to prove if her facts or St Kilda's facts were true cause you knoww....blood sample...analysis....science stuff.
So in her seek for revenge, she revealed nude pictures of the team players to kinda exploit their "oh so good" reputation.

Seriously dude, thats not gonna do much. On the personal side
1. Boys will be boys.
2. Everyone has their own life and they can live it however they want. They can't just live like role models for their whole entire lives. THEY ARE NOT ROBOTS so what they do in their own time is up to them...slut.
3. How did you conveniently have the photos in possession anyway?
4. Seeing as AFL stars are always in the media for doing something out of the ordinary, it makes a point in itself- it means that they arent always picture perfect and honestly, no one really is. We all bear our secrets but the fact that they're famous just makes it harder for them to shut up and bear with the lies and stories that are in the headlines.

However to the media, it's basically like propaganda! They can twist the most hilarious picture into something racist or judgemental. E.g: The Hey Hey It's Saturday skit of the Michael Jackson thing- made us seem racist (also on Harry Conick Jr's part too). So on the media side of things
1. They take it out of proportion
2. But thats their job

I can see why she would WANT to exploit them the way she did but honestly, she seems (by the media) that she's just playing games so i dont like her:
1. A website said, "THE teenager at the centre of the AFL naked photographs scandal has promised to release five more candid images of AFL players to the media when she arrives at Melbourne Airport tomorrow." She's coming back from a holiday in which i hardly doubt is neccessary if she's going to be there with images of the AFL stars. Seriously, i bet she's on that holiday strategically thinking of her next moves.
2. The images of herself in the newspaper are two sided- theres one where she's dressed in like a blazer of some sort looking professional and...old looking. And theres another picture of her looking like an absolute slut: She's tanned with a mini St Kilda jersey top that shows her belly and belly piercing with black leggings i presume.
Let me make this clear: the image and what it portrays ALTOGETHER makes her look like a slut. I am not saying the things that she is portraying individually is slut worthy (thus not offending people who have belly piercings as sluts...DEFINITELY NO!).
3. She states that she is only doing this cause she "wanted everyone to 'know the truth'". Yeah girly, we hear you loud and clear. You got the front page news and a huge 4 page spread! And with all the debate comments that are siding with you, you seriously aren't satisfied with that? Honestly, whats your point realllly? Cause for everyone to know the truth is very broad. And the fact that you got the Herald Sun's permission to write your story after how many times they rejected your story, doesnt that make your goal ALREADY achieved? Obviously not for you cause you continue to exploit OTHER teams when you said you vow that the "Blues and Swans will be her next targets". What did they do to you?
4. She was 16 when she met up with the AFL stars at a party in Sydney. And went back to his hotel room where she apparently took the pictures that she then used to attack the AFL stars. They didnt really specify when she 'did it' with the player but suppossedly we know when she did- why the hell did you sleep with a 23 or 24 year old dude when you're only 16. Guys don't bear the consequence of getting pregnant and their name shunned. Chicks do! How thick (stupid) could you get? You're in high school for pete's sake- have you not watched enough movies to realise what happens when you're preggers?
5. The fact that she wanted revenge on the AFL team was so consequentially disturbing that she miscarried. Probs due to stress and the publicity crap she was trying to pull off. It all got to her head that she miscarried. Those babies couldve saved and proven her story but nooooo....she didnt take care of herself, killed two babies, ruined her reputation and the lives of others and yet she's still going at it but making it worse- she's destroying football, channel 7 network and Australia in a sense. Channel 7 network holds all the footy stuff (sometimes network 9 too) but channel 7 IS the home of football.

If St Kilda are so sure that they didnt do anything remotely wrong in a sense that it would ruin their reputation and image as it already has, then this is what you should do:
1. call a press meeting thingo
2. only 1 team member will stand and represent
3. explain their side of things
4. deny all accusations made against them
5. AND ACT MAD but poised.
Being mad and loud will not only show your point but will make you seem true to your story.

Now i ceebs going to highpoint.
