Christmas Went Out With A Serious BANG!

So me and my sister were doing the christmas decorations.
I told her to hang the lights instead of decorating the trees with them.
So we did.
We took ages fixing it up to look perfect as we hung it on our back double doors.
We turned it on, no light appeared.
We saw that the wire at the plug was coming out so we both took a look at it and my sister took the wire and stuck it with the plug wire and BOOM!
A huge ass bright light appeared- a power shock happened.
We both screamed a large scream.

My sister had some black crap on her hands so i told her to run to the bathroom to wash her hands just incase they were burns or something.
Turned out to be luckily some black power surge crap from the blast.
My mum hurried to us from the kitchen and we were laughing our heads off.
We were like part blind- couldnt really see anything cause of the light.
We were basically fine- just suffered from a little shock and blindness from the light.
We came around a few minutes later.
But we figured out that half of the house- the left hand side of the houses powerpoints had completely died.
Nothing was working and the net was shut off.
So hilarious.
My mum got freaked cause half of the houses's power was off and was like in that asian voice, "OHH MYEE GOT!"
So funnnnyyyy!
We woke up our dad to help fix the problem but phew! All we had to do was switch the main frame switch- thank god for safety switches!!
I'm still a little bit worried about my sister cause she was the closest to the power point. I was kinda hoping for some awesome marvel comic type powers- something thunder related like Sailor Jupiter but nahhh...nothing.
I guess super powers will be left for the imagination.

We then listened to some Disney Love Songs.
Awesome night.
It shall now be concluded with some Will and Grace and Harry Potter 2 :)
