4. A new camera. Doesnt have to be a completely pro ass cam. Actually id rather not have a pro ass cam cause theyre bulky. I love the one Tyana has- Canon Powershot G11. I saw that a while back and it looked really coooool! Shouldve saved up for it but then i saw the Pentax K-X and well...theyre coloured cams. How can you say to that?
5. Haircut

La Trobe Open Day was fun!
Definitely putting down La Trobe as first preference.
YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE WHAT I DID!
I went to this TV production exhibit thingo ma jigga. It was so cool! It looked exactly like an actual studio. It was staged as the news- green screen, tele prompter, huge ass cameras, mics, THE LOT! And then there was this other room (right next to it) where they had the sound and camera shots and everything. They also use Adobe Final Cut. Currently using it for Media to create a video for St.Bernadettes. IT WAS SO COOL. The sound room was small but GOSH! It was so cool.
I swear, i was in one of my ultimate dreams. I cant take up that unit as an elective but i can always do it at some institute maybe or TAFE. So many options! AHHH!!
I played with all the buttons, switches, cameras, tv's!! AHHHHH IT WAS LIKE I WAS IN A REAL TELEVISION STUDIO!
I went to my information session for Events only cause i was too lazy to go anywhere else. It was interesting. Got some extra information- ATAR is approx. 70-72. Bloody hell, even my sister is interested in it! Surprisingly. I kinda have an idea about job opportunities. I can always incorporate it with Media- Film and TV. Just gotta think more about it. IM SERIOUSLY EXCITED!
OH OH! Theres a unit where you do practical hands on stuff with events- you work at the Ridges Hotel! HOW FREAKING AWESOME. And theres another where you hold an events to raise money for this cancer organisation. Cant remember what its called- kinda zoned out while the guy was talking. :S
But you can basically do anything to help raise money- fun run, book a thon, fashion show, concert!!!
My sister went to the science tents to ask about nanotechnology and surprisingly, she loves it. She's thinking about going to latrobe- but only once she finishes up at Monash.
What was really cool was that they were putting zooper doopers into liquid nitrogen! FREAKING COOL! Like they dip it for like 5 seconds and it goes from liquid to hard as rock flavoured + coloured ice!
The campus is REALLY nice. Like its not too much or too less. It's pretty bushy [thats what she said ;)] but the buildings even the scenery out. So it's all good.
The distance aint that bad either. Its like an hour and a bit but it didnt seem that long to me. I think trams are better than trains. Trains make the destination seem SOOOOOO far.
Oh wait, maybe cause i was busy watching Chuck that it seemed so short. HAHAH!
Me and my sister werent lucky with transport today. We were late for the train to the city so we took an adventure and hopped on a bus (not 220!! surprisingly). It was one of those that were on the other side of the common buses we usually use like the 410, 408's...
Took us to Footscary so then we took the train from there to the city.
Transport was in our favour cause we came 2 minutes early!
Arrived at the city and missed the 86 TRAM when it was like RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!
We're blind as bats!
Then we went all the way straight to La Trobe!
Bumped into Sharika and Hien when we were leaving and when they came. HAHA.
So much fun today :)
